Just earlier this morning, I was reading an piece published by the U.S. Census Bureau, in which it the dramatic reduction in the poverty rate in the US over the last 60 years was discussed including a graph showing that the steepest decline in an already regularly decreasing rate occurred just over the past five years.  Indeed the times may seem turbulent and perplexing, but remember all of the really positive things being achieved as well.
